Admissions to an engineering programme

You can join the engineering programme in 1st year, 2nd year or in integrated further training, depending on your previous training. This page shows you the different access routes.

Following Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles (CPGE), France’s elite preparatory schools, École des Ponts admits French and foreign engineering students in the fields of Maths and Physics, Physics and Chemistry, Physics and Technology and Physics and Industrial Sciences on the basis of an annual examination.


The common examination

This examination is common to 9 grandes Écoles: Mines ParisTech, Ponts ParisTech, Supaero (ISAE), ENSTA ParisTech,Télécom ParisTech, Mines St Etienne, Mines Nancy, Télécom Bretagne, ENSAE.
