Reflecting a widespread desire in industry and government to promote more environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient transport systems, the IVE Specialist Masters programme is offered jointly by four ParisTech Engineering Schools (Arts et Métiers ParisTech, École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées , Mines ParisTech et École des Ponts ParisTech) in partnership with Renault, with the support of the EDF Group and automotive industry associations. The purpose of this innovative and vocational technological programme, directly linked to the needs of tomorrow’s automotive sector, is to provide an in-depth understanding of the technologies that will govern the shift from traditional internal combustion vehicles to electric vehicles.

This is the first Specialist Masters programme in France to tackle this topic. It reflects strong demand from companies, since there is now a real need to recruit experts in electric vehicle engineering..
This Masters programme provides access to careers abroad or in France in national/international companies or organisations focusing on the design and production of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and on the development of the infrastructures associated with their use. Graduates can expect to move quickly into positions of high responsibility in an emerging sector, working for large global vehicle manufacturers and their subcontractors.
