Engineering degree, PLANNING, ENVIRONMENT AND TRANSPORT programme

Tram_PhotosDeDaniel_flickr_20121206_licenceCC-by-nc-nd From the 2nd year onwards, engineering students interested in issues of urban planning, transport or the environment can choose a programme provided by the Planning, Environment and Transport Department (VET).

Several program types

  • Standard VET engineering programme, with a focus on planning, transport or the environment;
  • Combined programme with a M2 research Masters in the 3rd year: specialising in Transport and Mobility on the CIMO (CIty and MObility) Masters, specialising in Water Systems and Management on the SGE (Environmental Science and Engineering) Masters, Masters in EDDEE (Economics of Sustainable Development, Environment and Energy) or in OACOS (Ocean, Atmosphere, Climate and Space Observations) Masters;
  • Combined programme with a M2 research Masters abroad in the 3rd year: numerous Masters degrees can be pursued abroad for students who joined Ecole des Ponts ParisTech in the first year;
  • Dual degree in engineering and urban planning: after a year studying on the VET engineering programme and a long placement in urban planning, students join the 15-month AMUR (Advanced Masters in Regional and Urban Planning) programme;
  • Dual programme in engineering and specialist Masters on “Rail and Guided Transport Systems”.
