Foreign students

Like all foreign students, you can apply for a Masters, a Mastère Spécialisé® (Advanced Masters), or a PhD. For an engineering degree, your options vary depending on the nature of the agreement between your parent institution and École des Ponts ParisTech.

Double-degree agreements

You will be a  foreign degree student (EFD), if you join under a double-degree agreement (DD) between your parent institution and École des Ponts ParisTech. If you meet all your educational requirements with us and in your parent institution, you will be awarded two degrees.

To apply: the first stage is to obtain information from your parent institution, the institution with which École des Ponts has a double-degree agreement. It is the parent institution that selects candidates and then sends their files to École des Ponts ParisTech.

Exchange agreements

You will be an exchange student and will not be able to obtain an engineering degree from École des Ponts ParisTech if you join under a student exchange agreement for a non-degree study program. You will come to École des Ponts ParisTech either for one semester of classes, or for two semesters of classes, or for one semester of classes and an end of course project. The credits from your course program at École des Ponts ParisTech will go towards your degree at your parent institution.
