PFIEV is part of the higher education renewal process undertaken by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training

 

Begun in 1999, it comprises a Franco-Vietnamese consortium established for the purpose of providing a comprehensive engineering curriculum, inspired by the French model of excellence, with adjustments for national conditions.The objective of this 5-year programme is to train executives with the capacity to drive Vietnam’s industrial development in its key economic sectors.

The consortium comprises

Every year since September 2003, 2 to 3 Vietnamese students who have completed 4 years of the PFIEV at ENSGC have joined a Masters programme at École des Ponts ParisTech as part of a double-degree arrangement.

Training engineers and conducting scientific research

 

ENSGC is one of the biggest multidisciplinary universities in the construction sector in Vietnam.Its mission is to train engineers and conduct scientific research in virtually all branches of civil engineering.Under the PFIEV process, École des Ponts ParisTech has chosen in particular to work with ENSGC’s transport infrastructure section.
