Project finance is a system implemented for large-scale projects (infrastructures) but also increasingly for medium-sized projects, in particular in the energy, telecommunications and water sectors.This method of financing requires skills across numerous fields, such as finance, law, economics, construction techniques, planning, etc.
The primary focus of the Masters programme is to train professionals in Project Finance.
The second priority is the study of sectors associated with project finance, such as the fast-growing real estate and venture capital sectors.
Structured finance (securitization, leasing…) is a slightly different system, but it uses similar techniques and is a natural complement to project finance. Its inclusion in the course offers further potential job prospects.
The aim is to significantly cut the learning time involved which, according to professionals, often requires 5 to 7 years of practice.To achieve this, the Masters programme provides a solid theoretical grounding, firmly tied in with the day-to-day realities of the sector.

Graduates can find employment in banking (BNP-Paribas, Calyon, DEXIA, EuroHypo, HSBC, IXIS-CIB, etc.), international financial institutions (International Monetary Fund) or specialist departments within insurance companies, accountancy firms (Ernst & Young, KPMG, SETCE-International), investors or investment funds specialising in this field, contractors (Réseau Ferré de France, SNET, etc.), existing or potential contract holders (tendering teams for export projects:Egis-Projects, Eiffage, SADE, Véolia, etc.).Such positions are available in French and international firms.
