Masters in Sustainable Development, Environment and Energy Economics (EDDEE)*
The goal of this programme is to give tomorrow’s researchers and senior executives the multiple competencies (economics, engineering sciences, life sciences) and skills (economic analysis, modelling, an institution analysis) they need to ensure that environmental issues, natural resource management, agricultural economics, health issues and environmental risks, are tackled from a perspective of sustainable governance. This Masters programme is a preparation both for research and for economic and administrative responsibilities.
The purpose of this programme is to prepare business managers for the task of managing complex production systems and/or innovation projects, for which future managers will need to master a wide range of skills and devise completely new solutions.
This Masters is a two-year vocational degree, the second year jointly accredited by ENPC. It includes coursework and a company placement. The objectives are twofold: to train professionals in project finance and to study fast developing sectors associated with project finance, such as real estate finance and venture capital.
The Public Policy and Development programme (PPD) is a special subject in the EHESS social science Masters programme, in which the School is involved. This programme develops skills relating to the assessment of public action in developed or developing countries, drawing on the resources of the Jourdan campus research labs (Paris-Jourdan Economics Research Unit and INRA’s Applied Economics Lab).
* enrolment in the Masters at the School is open to ENSTA students.
For the other courses, students from outside the School enrol within the partner universities.
