Obtaining a degree abroad

Any student who has completed a first-year engineering course at École des Ponts ParisTech (through entry by examination or by selection L3) has the opportunity to obtain a parallel degree from one of École des Ponts ParisTech’s partner universities abroad.

Under the double-degree agreements signed by the School

Under a double-degree agreement, the third year of study in a foreign university is equivalent to a third year at the School.This means that students who go down this path can obtain both the École des Ponts ParisTech degree and the partner university degree.

Outside a double-degree agreement

Any student who has completed a first-year engineering course at École des Ponts ParisTech (through entry by examination or by selection L3) can apply to do their third year and obtain a Masters degree (minimum duration two semesters) at foreign universities that have no institutional exchange agreement with École des Ponts, subject to approval by the School on the basis of their academic results, attendance record, motivation and career objectives.
