The School award PhD degrees from 1978 to 2010. Around 1000 people have been awarded PhDs.
900 hardcopy theses are referenced in the library catalogue. They are open access, can be borrowed by registered readers and loaned between libraries.
Since 2008, doctoral researchers in the School’s laboratories dhave registered with the Doctoral Schools ofParis-East University, a research and higher education centre of which the School is a founder member. The legal copyright for their theses is registered electronically for permanent archiving.
The documentary departments of École des Ponts ParisTech, UPEMLV and UPEC are responsible for collecting, referencing and copyrighting the theses produced in laboratories belonging to the PRES UPE Doctoral Schools.
If a thesis is not confidential, and if the author has given their approval for internet publication, the thesis will be available on the following sites: TEL, HAL (and HAL - École des Ponts), theses.fr and possibly Pastel the author is linked with École des Ponts ParisTech). It will also be shown in the SUDOC (University Documentation System catalogue) and on the Dart-Europe European thesis registration siteDart-Europe (partnership between European higher education institutions).

It should be noted that theses in progress are referenced on theses.fr and on Thesa for institutions belonging to the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles.
