Civil Engineering and Construction Department (GCC)

The Civil Engineering and Construction department aims to train high-level engineers for project development, site organisation, innovation, and the fine-tuning of new technologies, not by training them in one narrow technical specialisation, but by equipping them with a large and open technical and scientific culture.

This department also sets out to prepare future engineers to tackle, design and take forward construction projects. The curriculum consists of:

  • The theoretical bases of mechanics and dynamics applied to structures, soils and fluids
  • The acquisition of design methods through the execution of projects
  • In-depth experience combining theoretical courses and experimental work in the chosen fields of geo-technology or structures, or hydraulic works
  • Many more specific courses chosen freely by the student covering all aspects of civil engineering
