      The Students' Office

The Student’s Office (« Bureau des Elèves », BDE) is managed by 10 student representatives, elected once a year after a hearty week of campaigning. The Office’s activities include organising parties, financing students’ clubs and providing accomodation assistance.
Membership fees are about 45€ per year. Members receive photocopying cards, enabling free use of the machines.
Applications are received at the BDE (open during mornings, midday and afternoon breaks), on the ground floor of the Vicat wing.

The BDE’s role includes:

  • Managing the various clubs (Music, Graphic Arts, Computer Science, etc.). Every student should find activities corresponding to his/her interests among the thirty existing clubs.
  • Organising trips and excursions;
  • Establishing contacts between professional firms and students;
  • Facilitating the daily life of students: photocopying cards, reduced rates for newspapers and magazines, theatre tickets, offers of internships by firms etc.

Each year, the Forum team joins with other engineering institutes in Paris (Ecole des Mines,ENSAE and ENSTA) to organise the Forum Trium. This is the leading event for employment in France, enabling students and firms to meet over two full days.
