On campus

Accommodation in Paris and its suburbs is in very short supply. You can stay in a hotel or hostel for a few days, but you need to find a more long term solution. We strongly recommend that you start looking for accommodation as early as the May before your arrival in the following autumn. The École des Ponts is under no obligation to provide accommodation, but space may be available in one of its 3 Halls of Residence.

			Perronet Hall of Residence 29 rue Ampère 77420 Champs-sur-Marne Tel. 33 (0)1 64 73 29 01 RER station: line A, Noisy-Champs Description: built in 1994, this Hall of Residence has a laundry and an underground car park. Rooms, varying in size from 9m2 to 22m2, are furnished, with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and telephone and T.V. sockets. Sheets, blankets and crockery are not provided. There is a reception service. Rent: single bedsits cost 453 € and about 278 to 358 € for a shared room. Meunier Hall of Residence 11 boulevard Copernic 77420 Champs-sur-Marne Tel: 33 (0)1 64 61 97 00 RER station: line A, Noisy-Champs Description: built in 1996, the rooms are furnished, with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, telephone (subscription to the French National Telephone Company necessary), and a T.V. socket. Sheets, blankets and crockery are not provided , but crockery is available on deposit. The Hall of Residence has a garden, a cafeteria, a laundry and a security officer. The Hall also deals with housing benefit claims. Rent: Individual bedsits (20m2) cost 511 € per month and can be shared by 2 people for 293 € to 343 € per person. A large, shared bedsit costs 343 € per person. Showers and toilets are on the corridor, as are hot plates and microwave ovens. Each room has a small kitchen area with a fridge and sink. Crockery is not provided. Rent: about 190 € a month for a shared room.
