• Resources available for hiring, monitoring and providing additional training for PhD students are managed by the Doctoral Studies Department.
  
• Through Université Paris-Est, École des Ponts is involved in four Doctoral Programmes:
  
  - City and Environment (VE)
  - Materials, Structures, Durability and Environment (MODES)
  - Information, Communication, Modelling, Simulation (ICMS)
  - Entreprise, Labor, Employment (ETE)
• Through Paris School of Economic, École des Ponts is involved in the Doctoral Programme Theoretical and applied Economics and Economic Policy (ETAPE)
  
• Creation of a post-doctoral policy in the École des Ponts’s laboratories.
• Welcome of visiting professors

- To expand scientific and technical knowledge in the fields covered by École des Ponts’s engineering training, and to contribute knowledge dissemination through symposia, conferences and publications.

- To transfert research results to the professional world, through a policy of contractual research and through providing expertise, including continuing education services.
